Any of the following true of you?

1. No time to cook.

2. No time to wash dishes.

3. No time to eat in restaurants.

4. No time for grocery shopping.

If so, then this recipe may be for you!

This recipe uses a microwavable, disposable paper bowl¹ and a disposable plastic spoon¹ as the only preparation/eating utensils. It does not require any perishable ingredients such as fresh vegetables or dairy products (Butter will keep for months in the freezer!), so you only need to stock up on groceries once every few weeks!

1. Fill a 20 oz. microwavable, disposable paper bowl¹ ¾ full with Swad Bhakarwadi Mini².

2. Add a liberal amount of maple syrup.

3. Using a disposable plastic spoon¹, add a liberal amount of peanut butter by rubbing the spoon against the side of the paper bowl.

4. Using the same plastic spoon, add a liberal amount of strawberry jam.

5. Microwave on high for 1 minute.

6. Add ¼ stick of melted butter³.

7. Mix thoroughly.

8. Serve while still warm in the paper bowl including a plastic spoon.

¹ At Wal-Mart®, I’ve purchased Dixie® brand 20 oz. microwavable paper bowls in packages of 30 for US$2.97 and Diamond® brand plastic spoons in packages of 48 for US$.96.

² “Swad Bhakarwadi Mini” consists of small, rolled wheat sliced to form small disks and filled with a mixture of mango powder, sesame seeds and spices. It is available from East Indian grocery stores. Call 800-800-SWAD or go to http://www.rajafoods.com to locate a dealer in your area.

³ One obvious disadvantage of the above recipe is that it creates “dirty dishes.” A knife is required to cut the butter, and a container is required to melt the butter. For a good way to melt the butter without creating any dirty dishes, see “The World’s Best Popcorn” (http://LLBest.com/WorldsBestPopcorn.htm).
