After years of preparing Easy Mac, I prepared some yesterday using the following method for the first time. It was the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had! Very juicy! Very tasty!
This recipe uses two microwavable, disposable paper bowls*, four rubber bands, and a disposable plastic spoon* as the only cooking / eating utensils. It does not require any perishable ingredients such as fresh vegetables or dairy products (Butter keeps for months in the freezer), so you only need to stock up on groceries once every few weeks! It’s the fastest, most delicious way to prepare a jumbo sized serving of macaroni and cheese.
1. Into a 20 oz. microwavable, disposable paper bowl*, add ¾ cup of water.
2. Add a macaroni package (not a cheese package) from a box of Kraft® Easy Mac Big Packs® Macaroni & Cheese Dinner.
3. Put 2 tablespoons (¼ stick) of butter in the center of the bowl on top of the macaroni. (The butter may be room temperature, refrigerated, or even frozen.)
4. Add a small amount of salt. (optional)
5. Add a liberal amount of curry powder.
6. Add some chili powder.
7. Add a few of raisins. (optional)
8. Place a second 20 oz. disposable paper bowl upside down on top of the first.
9. Secure the two bowls together using four equally spaced rubber bands.
10. Microwave on high for 3 minutes, 3½ minutes if the butter is frozen.
11. Do not drain.
12. Quickly add a cheese package, before the mixture has a chance to cool.
13. Mix thoroughly using a disposable plastic spoon*.
14. Serve while still warm including the plastic spoon.
