3. “Undo” information is saved whenever a button is clicked and whenever the mouse is clicked inside the text box.
4. The button reverses the effect of the button.
5. After converting the text as desired, “Copy/Paste” it
back into your text editor or word processor.
NOTE: To produce search strings for multiple file global find (search) utility programs such as _FIND.EXE, click the button. Please keep in mind that, although this program is extremely fast, Unicode characters (characters with a decimal code higher than 255) will not work.
NOTE: This web page was created using Notepad. Except for the background image file the keyboard command JavaScript file and the font / color data JavaScript file, it is completely self contained, and the absence of these three files will not cause any problems. Please feel free to save it to your hard drive using “File/Save as….” Double-click on the newly created “LLBest - Utility - SearchHTML String Conversion” icon (“SearchStringConversion” icon for Firefox), and make it one of your “Favorites.” It will work perfectly even when you are no longer connected to the Internet, or, heaven forbid, when this web page is no longer available!
