Don’t let the simplicity of this recipe fool you. Even though it contains only 4 ingredients, and is microwaved for only 2 minutes, it is incredibly delicious. It uses a disposable paper bowl¹ and a disposable plastic spoon¹ as the only preparation/eating utensils, so you won’t have to wash any dishes.

1. Fill a 20-oz. microwaveable, disposable paper bowl¹ ¾ full with a spicy Indian snack food such as Swad® Rainbow Mix², Swad Khatta Mitha Mix² or Swad Nadiyadi Bhusa² (spicy, crunchy snacks consisting mostly of grains and beans).

2. Using a disposable plastic spoon¹, make a 2 ½ inch wide depression in the middle of the snack food.

3. Fill the depression with tomato puree by poring it directly from the can.

4. Using your fingers, cover the tomato puree with chunks from a solid block of American style cheese such as Kraft® Velveeta.

5. Microwave on high for 2 minutes or until all of the cheese melts.

6. No need to mix. (Mix while eating.)

7. Serve while still warm, including the plastic spoon.

8. Serve with sour cream as a condiment.

¹ At Wal-Mart®, I’ve purchased Dixie® brand 20-oz. microwavable paper bowls in packages of 30 for US$3.38 and Diamond® brand disposable plastic spoons in packages of 48 for US$1.14.

² Available from East Indian grocery stores.
