When I first got a job here in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (da U. P.) more than 4 years ago, I started wearing latex gloves containing talcum powder for several hours a day. The eczema on my left hand flared up, and got really bad. My boss told me to try talcum powder free vinyl gloves. This caused my eczema, which I had had for many years, to completely vanish almost immediately!
It bothered me, however, to wear the vinyl gloves because vinyl is a poison, and research on the Internet revealed that it’s even more poisonous than I’d thought. Then my company started providing talcum powder free latex gloves. I’ve been using them for almost 4 years now with no problems, and my eczema never came back!
