(Tested using IE7, IE8, IE11 and Firefox 25)
These same rules also apply to the optional “Do-not-email list.”
Clicking causes the email addresses in the main list (top text box) and in the “Do-not-email list” (third text box) to be extracted, converted to all lower case, and sorted alphabetically. Then all duplicates and “Do-not-email” addresses are removed from the main list.
Following this, if a number was entered into the “Maximum email addresses:” box, then the email addresses are broken up into groups. The reason that you might want to do this is that some email systems limit the number of email addresses that can be “mailed to” at one time. For example, Hotmail.com limits the number of email addresses to 50 at a time. In this case “50” should be entered into the “Maximum email addresses:” box. Then when is clicked the extracted email addresses will be split up into groups of 50.
2. If applicable, “Copy/Paste” your “Do-not-email list” into the third text area.
3. If applicable, enter the maximum number of email addresses for your particular email system (For Gmail, it’s 500) into the “Maximum email addresses:” box.
4. Click .
5. “Copy/paste” the reformatted list from the bottom text area above, one group of email addresses at a time, into your email message’s “To:,” “Cc:” or “Bcc:” field.
